Colquitt Residents Tone Up and Slim Down with the Spinning® Program

Kathy Middleton shows off spinning bikes.
A new fitness studio, Focus @ the Avenues, now offers the world's original and most popular indoor cycling class. This Spinning program, which has brought health and fitness to millions worldwide since its inception in 1987, brings expert coaching, inspirational music and a supportive environment to group exercise.

"The beauty of the spinning program is that most people see a significantincrease in their fitness level regardless of their existing base," says Kathy Middleton, owner of Focus @ the Avenues. "We've had everyone from marathon runners to retirees in our classes. Because individuals can adjust the resistance on their Spinner® bike, each participant gets the workout that's right for them. And because there are no complicated movements to learn, the benefits start on day one."

"Like most Americans, Colquitt residents aren't getting the exercise they need. The Spinning program at Focus offers individuals the opportunity to get an effective workout in just 40 minutes," says Spinning instructor Kathy Middleton.

Focus @ the Avenues on the square is located in the back of Madison Avenues gym. This is a co-ed studio owned and operated by Kathy Middleton of Colquitt. Kathy has a bachelor of science degree in health and physical education from Valdosta State University and she teaches at West Bainbridge Middle School. She is also a National YMCA Certified Personal Trainer, CPR; AED Certified and an avid long distance runner and triathlete. "I am very excited about teaching the Spinning program as well as other classes such as Boot camp, Pilates, and Personal Training." She has four children and is married to Brock Middleton.

The Spinning program offers an energizing, cyclinginspired group exercise training program with expert coaching, exhilarating music and a unique mind/body philosophy all at a self-directed pace. The Spinning program has reached more than 35,000 clubs and millions of enthusiasts in 80 countries worldwide.
