VONCILLE H. BRYAN

Mrs. Voncille H. Bryan, age 81, formerly of Columbus, died Friday, April 4, 2008, in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Mrs. Bryan was born June 25, 1926, in Miller County to the late Noah Gordon Hill and Ruby Elizabeth Bowen Hill Cobb. She was a retired school teacher from Muscogee County School District having taught 31 years at Fox Elementary School.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, April 8, at 2:00 p.m. at Parkhill Cemetery with Chaplain Gene Cook officiating.

Survivors include a daughter, Beverly B. Forbes, Mt. Pleasant, SC; a son, Buddy Bryan (Susan), Columbus; sister, Opal Nalburg (Herbert), Stamford, CT; six grandchildren, Emily Harper (Stone), Mt. Pleasant, SC, Chris Bryan (Jennie), Berkley Blanchard (Perry) Brittany Bryan, Bo Bryan, Ben Bryan, all of Columbus; fivegreat-grandchildren; and a special care giver, Chris Canter, Mt. Pleasant, SC.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie B. Bryan, a granddaughter, Amelia Bennett Forbes, and a son-in-law, Terry W. Forbes.

Vancebrooks Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
