EDWARD ANDRE W MILLER SR. Mr. Edward Andrew Miller Sr., age 77, of Colquitt died March 30, 2008, at his residence. Mr. Miller was born August 11, 1930, in Miller County. He was a retired civil service worker and served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.He was a member of the Gerald Grow Post #165 American Legion. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 2, at 10:00 a.m. at SheffieldFuneral Chapel with Rev. Stanley Phillips officiating. Interment followed in Thompson Cemetery with military honors. Serving as pallbearers were Billy Parrish, Terry Williams, Jason Haywood, Mickey Kennedy, B.J. Parrish, and Chad Dean. Survivors include two daughters, Pam (Terry) Williams, Colquitt, Pat (Billy) Parish, Blakely; one son, Edward A. (Andy) Miller Jr., Colquitt; one brother, Gerald Collins, Albany; one sister, Jackie Heard, Leary; two stepsisters, Caroline McCarty, Doerun, and Roya Seymore, Albany; five grandchildren, Jason (Belinda) Haywood, Courtney (Chad) Dean, Mickey (Erika) Kennedy, B.J. (Renee) Parish, April (Andy) Kelly; fivegreat-grandchildren, Jason Williams, Kade Haywood, Noah Kennedy, Cailyn Dean, and Jacob Kelly. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy B. Miller. Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
