Bowen celebrates first birthday

Bowen Thomas Smith
Bowen Smith celebrated his first birthday party on Sunday, March 9, at his home in Bainbridge. He had turned one year old on Wednesday, March 5.

Bowen was so excited to have all of his family and friends with him to help celebrate his big day.

Since he is a "John Deere" man, his party consisted of everything being carried out in the John Deere theme.

After enjoying cake with all the trimmings, Bowen had a big time opening his birthday gifts with a little help from his big sister, Lexie.

Bowen and Lexie are the children of Brandon and Laura Smith of Bainbridge. He is the grandson of Tommy and Melanie Smith of Colquitt and Van and Jo Smith of Bainbridge.

Great-grandparents are Frank and Patricia Heard of Colquitt, Audrey Smith and the late John Smith of Donalsonville; Inez Smith and the late T.E. Smith of Bainbridge, and Cecil and the late Voncille Whitfield of Chattahoochee, FL.

His great-great-grandmother is Mrs. Uva Mason of Colquitt.

Bowen commented that he hopes all of his birthdays are as great as this one, and he is already looking forward to number two.

Happy birthday, Bowen!
