Everyone loves a party, and that is just what we had this past week. Residents enjoyed their regular scheduled programs along with lots of parties this past week. On Monday afternoon Mrs. Jane Wiggins, one of our regular volunteers, gave us a party for "Your Lucky Day." At this party she served everything green, green cake, green punch, green candy, and chips. This was to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. On Tuesday the ladies spent the afternoon having their finger nails painted so that they would be ready for the birthday party on Wednesday. Flat Creek Baptist was with us on Wednesday to host the monthly birthday party. Thursday we welcomed in spring, we are looking forward to some warmer weather so that we will be able to spend a little more time outside. Friday we enjoyed coloring Easter Eggs, This brought back such memories of how we used to color and hide eggs for our children in years past. On Saturday residents, staff and a few family members had a great time hunting eggs once again. We would like to thank all who took part in our activities this past week. Whether you came to speak, sing a song, helped with the parties or just came to say a kind word we would like to thank you. We hope that everyone had a great holiday weekend, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
