The sister of Mr. Hezikiah Benton Sr. passed last week. She lived in Largo, FL. We had gone to see her in August of last year. She was the last girl in his parents' family. The funeral was held Saturday, March 15, in Largo, FL.

Mrs. Carolyn Denise Melton, the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Miller, was funeralized in Miami, FL, on February 16, 2008. Her mother and father were Mrs. Lizzie Walker, and the late Charles Walker. She was the cousin and niece of Ms. Eldora Miller and Mr. Sam Miller. This family was struck by disaster last week when a nephew was killed in an accident. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday for Mr. Reginald Walker. Your prayers are appreciated.

Mrs. Essie Bridley spent a few days in the hospital in Donalsonville, but she is home now. She celebrated a birthday this past weekend. The children as always were here to help her celebrate.

Vera Mae Bridley celebrated a birthday on March 10, and Victoria Thompson had a baby girl on March 10. Jeremiah, the son of Ashley Bridley, had a birthday March 13. Bridley Wade had his day March 8. Happy Birthday!

I went to church last Sunday, enjoyed the service. The pastor was sick and also several members, but Minister Holmes did a beautiful job filling in.

Mr. Carl Williams will celebrate his birthday March 17.
