CHRYSTELLE CONRAD RODGERS

Mrs. Chrystelle Conrad Rodgers, age 87, of Bascom, FL, died Sunday, March 9, 2008, at The Courtyard at the Millpond Rehab and Nursing Center in Marianna, FL.

Mrs. Rodgers was born in Crosby, AL, on December 28, 1920, to the late Benjamin and Julia Ditty Conrad. She worked until her retirement as a supervisor at Sunland in Marianna, FL. She was married to Walker WhitfieldRodgers who preceded her in death in 1984.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, March 11 at the Bascom United Methodist Church Cemetery in Bascom, FL, with the Rev. Bob Bennett officiating.

Survivors include two brothers, James B. Conrad and Phyllis, Bascom, FL, Chester Conrad and Sue, Webb, AL; two sisters, Gertrude Smith, Columbus, Myrtle Boner, Anniston, AL; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walker Whitfield Rodgers; and two sisters, Lucille Johnson and Lottie Tully.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
