The residents at the Miller Nursing Home were happy to have members from Macedonia FWB with them on Sunday afternoon, along with Mr. Charles that morning. On Monday the volunteers had their monthly meeting; they still would like to invite each of you to become a volunteer, so you can receive a blessing by being part of our residents' lives. The residents enjoyed homemade peanut butter cookies, cornflakecandy, Ritz crackers with peanut butter, and juice in celebration of national "Peanut Butter Day." Another activity for the week was "Follow the Yellow Brick Road." As we all know, this is Dorothy in the "Wizard of Oz." Friday we looked back at how Dorothy and her friends overcame trials in their lives and how we face trials everyday and the things we do to overcome them. We all received a medal of courage for overcoming our fears. There was also a little competition with the building of the Beetle Bug. Families came out on Saturday, along with "Spirit Filled Temple." As you can tell there is never a dull moment at our Home.
