Varnum and Gibson to wed

Brian Gibson and Jennifer Varnum
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond L. Varnum Jr. of Colquitt would like to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Lynn Varnum, to Brian Jeremy Gibson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Gibson of Colquitt.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Karter of Colquitt, Mr. Buster Fallin of Jacksonville, FL, Mr. Raymond L. Varnum Sr., Ms. Lynn W. Phillips, both of Colquitt, Mr. Billy Phillips and Ms. Karen Visscher of Voorhess, NJ. She is also the great-granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Williams, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Varnum, of Colquitt and the late Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Breazeale of Albany and the late George Boswell of Grantville.

She is a 2006 graduate of Miller County High School and attends Bainbridge College. She is currently employed with Little Indians Daycare and Pre-School of Donalsonville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Lillian Gibson and the late Mr. T.A. Gibson of Colquitt and Mrs. Ethel Haas and the late Mr. Elwood Haas of Bainbridge.

He is a 2002 graduate of Miller County High School and is currently employed with Vann Farms of Colquitt. He is also an active member of the Colquitt/Miller County Fire/EMS.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, July 19, 2008, at the McLendon Barn in Leary at 3:00 p.m. The reception will immediately follow.

All friends and relatives of the couple are invited to attend the wedding and reception. No formal invitations will be sent.
