Stavely, Sheffield engaged to marry

Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Stavely of Bainbridge announce the engagement of their daughter, Kendall Rebecca Stavely of Bainbridge, to Ernie Michael Sheffield of Colquitt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Sheffieldof Colquitt.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. M.W. Stavely and Mr. DeVane Moore of Whigham and Mrs. Shirley Sangster of Unadilla.
She is a 2003 graduate of Grace Christian Academy in Bainbridge. She received her bachelor of science degree in education in 2007 from Georgia Southwestern State University. While there she was placed on the Academic Achievement List, was a member of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, and was awarded the Georgia Power New Teacher Assistance Grant. She is presently employed as a seventh grade language arts teacher at Hutto Middle School in Bainbridge.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. Marvin Sheffieldand the late Mrs. Mary Sheffieldof Colquitt and Mr. and Mrs. O.C. Giles of Thomasville.
He is a 2002 graduate of Southwest Georgia Academy in Damascus. He attended Darton College in Albany for two years were he was a member of the baseball team. He received his bachelor of science degree in history with teacher certification. He plans to pursue a career in education.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, March 29, 2008, at 2:30 p.m. at Grace Church in Bainbridge. A reception will follow at the Firehouse Gallery Callahan Room.
Relatives and friends of the couple are invited to the
wedding and reception.
