MCMS Sixth grade competes in St. Jude's Math-A-Thon
      The Sixth Grade Class of Miller County Middle School recently participated in the St. Jude's Math-A-Thon. The drive began on November 16th and ended on December 14. The students actually worked the math problems in class on December 17 and 18.

Highway safety grant being put to good use at BC
      Bainbridge College (BC) has received notice that it is again the recipient of a Governor's Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) grant. "A $4,500 GOHS grant for the college has been approved for this academic year," said Arlene Cook, BC counselor and member of the Officeof Student Affairs.

      The SGA basketball teams traveled to Camilla Monday, December 17 to play Westwood. Neither SGA team played very well as Westwood took both games from SGA. The Lady Warriors could not get an offense going early against Westwood and fell behind 19-6 after one quarter.
