BETTY JEAN POTTS

Mrs. Betty Jean Potts, age 70 of Colquitt died Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Miller County Hospital.

Mrs. Potts was born August 5, 1937 in Miller County. She was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services were held Friday, December 21 at 2:00 p.m. at SheffieldFuneral Chapel with the Rev. Talmadge Worsley and Rev. Chris Ellison officiating. Interment followed in Eldorendo Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Michael Chambless, David Chestnut, Arthur Chestnut, James Carroll and Rodney Chambless.

Survivors include four daughters, Debra Jean Schilling (John) Albany, Donna Kay Collazo (Yamil), Columbus, Joy Denise Chasse, Wyomissing, PA, Sonya Lynn Scalf, Cosby, TN; one son, Ted Allen Bryan, Jr. (Lyn), Severn, Maryland; two sisters, Sarah Nel Swiatkiewicz, Carroll, IA, and Desiree Diane Carroll, Iron City; four brothers, George Michael Chambless, David Chestnut, Arthur Chestnut, and Jamie Chestnut, all of Bainbridge; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
