Nursing Home residents welcome Garden Club members

On December 19, the Miller Nursing Home residents and staff warmly received the Colquitt Garden Club Nursing Home Christmas Home Project, chaired by Laura Bryan.

Handcrafted Christmas flavors with sugarfree candy canes were delivered to each resident's room by Jane Merritt, Dorothy Milliner, Iva Tabb, Linda Atterson, and Linda's granddaughter, Katie Mosko of Ocalo, Florida. Other Garden Club members assisting in this project were Eloise George, Veryl Cockey, Karen Tabb, Maxie Warren, and Connie Tibbedeaux.

The Home School Family from Bainbridge have a beautiful musical Christmas program consisting of monologues and songs about the true meaning of Christmas. The group witnessing were Teresa Adkins and children, Teresa, Caleb, and Levi; and Tonya Austinson and children, Stennes, Josiah, Anders, Branch, Journey, and Abram.

The special occasion was enjoyed by all.
