Colquitt Garden Club names Christmas decoration winners

Southwind Ford was the commerical winner

Each year the Colquitt Garden Club sponsors the Christmas decoration contests.

If you live inside the city limits of Colquitt or own a business in the city limits, your home or business can be judged. This is the only criteria you have to have to be able to qualify to win one of these awards.

Each year the judges and members of the Colquitt Garden Club ride around several nights to make sure they pick the right home and business. This year was no exception. The members stated that their were many homes and businesses that would qualify for this award but they could only pick one and an honorable mention from each category.

This year Southwind Ford received the Christmas Decoration Commerical Award while Colquitt Alternative received honorable mention.

In the residential division, the home of Keith and Misti Middleton on the Crooked Oak Golf Course received the Christmas Decoration Residential Award. Receiving honorable mention was the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rizzo on the corner of First and Pine St.
