Mr. William James "Jamie" Brossman, 44, of Newton died Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at his residence.

Mr. Brossman was born June 30, 1964 in Lancaster, PA. He was a member of Milford Baptist Church and was an automotive mechanic. He was employed by Stewart's Automotive in Colquitt for the past 18 years. He was also a member of the Baker County Fire and Rescue Department.

Funeral services were held Sunday, December 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home with the Rev. Preston Wilson officiating. Interment followed in Travelers Rest Cemetery.

Pallbearers were members of the Baker County Fire and Rescue Department.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Love Brossman, Newton; a son, Anthony Shane Cox, Sylvester; two daughters, Tonya L. Cox, April Roseborough, Newton; four grandchildren, Austin Lane, Desiree Cox, Cameron Cox, Adrianna Roseborough; sister, Jodi Shank, Bainbride, PA; mother-in-law, Myrtice Holt, Newton and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur LeRoy Jr. and Myrtle Irene Diffenderfer Brossman.

Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla was in charge of arrangements.
