Mr. L. T. Cox of Colquitt died Saturday November 1, 2008 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Al.

Mr. Cox was a retired farmer and a member of Unity Church of God in Iron City.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 4 at 3:00 p.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Walden and Rev. Fletcher Sheffield officiating.

Burial followed at Cook Union Cemetery with Luke Cook, Chance Cook, Michael Cox, Glen McMillen, Roger Pickren and Mark Clinton serving as active pallbearers.

Survivors include his wife Audrey Cox, Colquitt; three daughters, Lynn (Matt) Cross, Bainbridge, Ashley (Chance) Cook, Precious Cook, Colquitt; two sons, Charlie (Rachel) McCillen, Wesley (Brittany) Cox, Colquitt; five sisters, Dorothy Richardson, Patricia Pickren, Virginia Cox and Mary Cook, Colquitt, Gail Funderburg, Augusta; two brothers, Will Isaac Cox, Earl Cox, Colquitt; and seven grandchildren.

Mr. Cox was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Ethel Cox and one brother, Dale Cox.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
