Mr. Harry Roberts, age 86 of Colquitt died Sunday, November 2, 2008 at Miller Nursing Home.

Mr. Roberts was born September 22, 1922 in Miller County. He was a retired painter and a member of New Home Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 5 at 3:00 p.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Benjamin Miller officiating. Interment followed in Primitive Union Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Eddie Roberts, Scott Roberts, Bobby Roberts, Benny West, David Clements and Don Roberts.

Survivors include one daughter, Walley R. Barbree, Colquitt; one son, Danny Ray Roberts, Colquitt; four grandchildren, Carley (Nathan) Lab, Casey Barbree, Kyle Roberts, Kelly Roberts; and one great-grandchild, Addison Bree Lamb.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Roberts and one son, Bradley Roberts.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
