Miller Nursing Home News for the Week of October, 26-31, 2008:

Do not ever say that only children enjoy Halloween!! We had such fun this week getting ready for the children to come and Trick or Treat. We spent Monday afternoon making candy ghosts to give out on Thursday. Thursday was a very exciting day. Residents started with their own Halloween party. We enjoyed black and orange cup cakes, along with chips and dip and spooky punch. Residents then went to the sun porch to wait on the children. Their eyes would light up as the children would come in, and candy, I have never seen so much. We would all like to give a big thank you to all of you that were so generous in giving candy so that the Residents could take part and have such a good time.

We also had our regular programs during the week along with Flat Creek on Sunday afternoon, and Temple Praise band on Tuesday afternoon. Again thanks to every one who gave and to those of you that brought your children by it means so much to us.
