Hey, everyone! I hope everybody had a great midterm holiday and is ready to begin a new nine weeks.

This week I have been getting a head start on our chapter scrapbook. It's going to be a lot of work!

Students are getting ready to head to the Expo October 15. We will have a late and early bus for students.

Students are still selling Chicken-Q tickets. We are hoping for a big success since this is one of our biggest fund-raisers. Don't forget to get your tickets! The pick-up date is October 17 from 4:30-6:30 in the lunchroom. We would like for anyone who can help fix plates to please come help.

Our next meeting is October 14. Please sign up in the ag office if you are coming. This will also be the Greenhand Degree, so if you would like to receive this degree, please fill out an application. We hope to see everyone there! Remember to be able to win the $100 at our FFA banquet in May you must attend every meeting.

The Pirate palooza is Thursday, October 16. The FFA will have a bouncy thing, so please come support our FFA.

Sharita Johnson Sharita Johnson If you would like to order an FFA jacket, please come to the office and try on the jackets we ordered to see which best fits you. There are also still plenty of FFA t-shirts available.

This week's member of the week is Sharita Johnson. She is in the 12th grade and is the daughter of Berlisha Fountain. She has been in FFA for four years and serves as our chapter chaplain this year. Sharita said her favorite thing about FFA is the people and the trips. She has participated in state convention. She is also in FBLA and HOSA. Sharita currently holds the Chapter Degree.
