Mr. Marvin L. Bush, age 53, of Colquitt died Sunday, October 5, 2008.

Mr. Bush was born August 7, 1955, to Joyce M. Bush and the late J.C. Bush of Colquitt. He attended Bethel School and graduated from Miller County High School. He was a member of Little Zion Free Will Baptist Church. Marvin was a jack-of-all trades. He was well known in the community as a carpenter, electrician, brick mason, and for his culinary arts.

Funeral services were held Saturday, October 11, at 2:00 p.m. at Little Zion Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Isaiah Cheatem officiating. Interment followed in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Leroy Bush, Grady Bush, Willie Edward Pittman, Christopher Daniels, Gederic Kyle and Ralph Crockett.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia A. Bush, Colquitt; three sons, Marcus (Chasmine) Cooper, Atlanta, Keith (Danielle), Marvin Mikel Bush, Colquitt; two daughters, Jasmine Bush and Kaytlin Bush, Colquitt; stepdaughter, Latoya Thornton, Colquitt; stepson, Richard J. (Jesmaine) Toliver; two sisters, Christine McDowell, Stacy Haire; seven brothers, Johnny C. Bush, Newton, James (Carolyn) B. Bush, Syracuse, NY, Grady (Bessie) Bush, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Sylvester (Gloria) Bush, Leroy (Amy) Bush, Elree Bush, Larry (Angela) Bush, Colquitt; five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.

Williams' Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
