Bronnie Addison Pate, 81, of Bainbridge passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at Memorial Hospital.

The funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 9, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leon VanLandingham officiating. Interment followed at Bellview Cemetery near Colquitt with Ben Rich, Lester Brown, Roy Brown, Randall Williams, Kenny Kirkland and Kem Dollar serving as active pallbearers.

Mrs. Pate was born September 17, 1927, in Colquitt, the daughter of William Addison and Ethel Haire Addison. She was a homemaker and a member of Independent Street Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Bruton Pate, and her daughter, Billie Ann Widner.

Survivors include three daughters, Janell P. Williams and Janice Pate of Bainbridge and Alice Faye Widner of Colquitt; her brother, Paul Addison of Quitman; four sisters, Inez Mock of Thomasville, Ellen Kelly, Dale Brown and Geneva Dollar, all of Bainbridge; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
