On August 23, 2008, Samantha Michele Nix was crowned SWGA Woodlands Princess in the SWGA Woodlands Pageant. Votes were $1.00 each, and Samantha won the crown by 450 votes. Sam would personally like to thank each and everyone who supported and voted for her. Sam is the 18-month-old daughter of Ben and Michele Nix and the sister of Colby Griffin and Autumn Harper.
