Old Springfield School

This is a photo copy of Springfield School taken in the early 900s complete with teachers, students and a unicycle. This was a large class.
Terry, this is the older Springfield School. It was where the Springfield Church is now. It was before I was born, I think.

Margie McMullen Murray, my cousin, who came into the office with me that day was able to get this copy of the Springfield.

Eula Tolar had it. Margie is putting a copy in the museum there.

Margie's mother, Lillian Lucile Jones McMullen, went to school there. She was born in 1914m and Margie thinks the girl in the second row third from left is her mom.

If anyone could identify this school as the old Springfield School and any of the teachers or students in it, please write, e-mail or call the Miller County Liberal.

I was so thrilled when we obtained a copy of this. We still need a copy of the one of the Springfield school that was north of this one that burned.

I love my paper, the Miller County Liberal. I love all of it, but especially the articles you write.

Many thanks, God Bless and keep up the good work.
