Joy Holley Bell earns doctorate

Dr. Bell graduated from Seminole County High School in 1989. She went on to earn an associate's degree in occupational therapy from the Medical College of Georgia in June of 1992 and a bachelor's of occupational therapy from Florida A&M University in June of 1994. She holds modality certification from the state of Georgia and is credentialed as a licensed occupational therapist in Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. She is also nationally certified as an occupational therapist through NBCOT.

Dr. Bell has over 16 years experience in the field of occupational therapy and has been employed at Donalsonville Hospital for the last 14 years where she continues to practice. She served as the G.R.E.A.T. representative through the Georgia Hospital Association for Donalsonville Hospital in 2003 and is a member of the Manchester Who's Who official registry for professionals.

Dr. Bell credits the encouragement and support of her family and her Christian faith as fundamental to her success. Dr. Bell is married to Brad Bell and has three beautiful daughters, Belinda, age 11; Rebecca, 8; and Hillary, 4. She is the daughter of Mrs. Betty Holley and the late Dr. Jacob Holley.
