I hope everyone has had a good week so far. The Ag office has been crazy this week. The FFA is getting in full gear.

This week students who wanted to participate in the tractor driving contest have been practicing driving the tractor. The tractor driving contest has been changed to Wednesday September 3rd due to the rain.

FFA t-shirts came in Monday and the pink shirts have already sold out. We ordered more that will be in soon. Sorry for the wait. We also still have plenty yellow shirts available.

Floral design workshop is coming up soon. It will be held at West Bainbridge Middle School on September 8th at 4:45. Two 9th graders and two 10th-12th graders can participate from our school.

Our next FFA meeting is September 18th at the bowling alley in Bainbridge. We will be leaving the AG shop at 5:00 p.m. September 12th will be last day to sign-up and pay $5 to go. To attend this meeting you must have also paid your FFA dues.

The Area 5 tractor driving competition, land judging, and floral design will be held Tuesday September 16th.

FFA dues are $10 and must be paid by October 10th. You may pay $16 and this pays dues and a FFA t-shirt.

Don't forget that the FFA is selling beef sticks down in the AG office.

The pick-up date for the smoked pork chop plates will be Friday September 5th in MCHS cafeteria from 3:00-7:00 pm. It is too late to purchase your tickets so I hope you've gotten yours.

The 81st FFA National Convention will be held on October 22-25 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The students attending from Miller County are Morgan Jackson, Amber Espinoza, Madison Posey, Mallory Jarvis, Jackie Moore, and Eddie Moore. Well that's all for this week. Have a great week!
