Vehicle Accident

On August 27, Edward Weston stated that he went to pull off when his trailer hit the driver 's side of Clarence William Brown's vehicle and caused damage to hood, fender, and bumper.

On August 28, Patricia Pickren came into the Sheriff's Office parking lot, misjudged her clearance and struck Gary Bernard Johnson on the passenger side causing damage to the bumper. There was also damage to Pickren's passenger side, front end, and her fender. There were no injuries.

Pickren pulled around to the side parking lot and struck a Sheriff's Office car in the driver's side rear bumper. The car was parked in a parking spot at the Sheriff's office. No injuries were reported.

Aggravated Assault

On August 18, Mickey Phillips made contact with Officer Brad Cox at the Miller County Sheriff's Office, in reference to filing an incident report. Phillips stated that the incident occurred at Floyd's Place on Friday, August 15. Phillips stated that he was inside Floyd's Place when an unknown person struck him in the side of his head with an unknown object. Phillips stated that he was knocked out by the blow and doesn't remember anything else. Phillips stated that he was taken home by T.C. Chambliss. Phillips stated that he was taken to the Bainbridge Hospital Emergency Room on Sunday, August 17. Phillips stated that he was told by the Emergency Room Staff to report the incident to the proper authorities. Officer Cox observed that Phillips had visible marks above his right ear and on his face. Officer Cox advised Phillips that he would forward the report to investigations.
