James (Snookie) Cobb of Colquitt died Friday August 31, 2008 at Miller County Hospital.

Funeral services were held Tuesday September 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Bellview Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Merritt officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Mr. Cobb was born September 22, 1938 in Miller County. He was a veteran of the US Army and worked as a service technician at Colquitt Ford in Colquitt for many years. He was a member of Bellview Free Will Baptist Church.

He is survived by four sisters Minnie Laura Chapman, Jorene Brown,and Hester Brown all of Colquitt, and June Burney of Dundee Fl. a large number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
