As You See It
Tried to pull for Colquitt. Called Tarrer Inn about room due to no electricity or running water. They were charging anywhere from $99 to $154 for room!!! Called Donalsonville, they were giving all locals discounts and charging $55 due to storm. Thanks, Donalsonville, for caring during a time of crisis!
All mobile home owners and residents (whose trailers are outside a park) need to attend the zoning meeting of the city council. Don't let them zone us out of our homes!!!!
Thank you, Three Notch EMC, Georgia Power, and all others that worked so hard day and night to help restore calm during all the chaos.
Loved our new radio station until it announced it's the official home of the Auburn Tigers. You want Auburn, move to Alabama. This is Georgia, home of the Georgia Bulldogs.
Thank you, Miller County, for the Emergenc y Warning phone calls. They are a life-saver!
Is it true that we will soon have another newspaper office in Colquitt? We sure hope so!! We need a paper that will print the truth, not just your opinion Mr. Toole!!
Everyone in this town needs to thank their lucky stars for the Jinks Foundation.
It is terrible that the Liberal is tearing the community apart each week with their "squawk box."
Too bad our newspaper sells trash. It should be named the Miller County Enquirer.
Thanks to all those who helped during the storm and after. We needed the rain, but could have done without the wind. Thanks for your help.
Thanks to all the Three Notch employees who gave of their time, working day and night to try to restore power to all the residents of Miller and the surrounding counties. They should be commended for a job well
done!
