      Vehicle Accident On August 8th Jeffery J. Jones was traveling North on Dubose Road at a high rate of speed. Jones was actively fleeing from law enforcement vehicles. Jones lost control of his vehicle while traveling in the soft dirt on Dubose Road.

One vehicle accident causes injury

      A one vehicle accident occurred on Tuesday, August 12, 2008. The accident occurred when Amanda Kay Mosley, of a Donalsonville address, was driving a 2003 Nissan Xterra traveling south on Three Notch Road. The vehicle traveled off the west shoulder of Three Notch Road, causing the driver to lose control.

Georgia's unemployment rate climbs to 6.2 percent in July: highest rate in 15 years
      ATLANTA - The Georgia Department of Labor reported today that the state's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate rose to 6.2 percent in July, up six-tenths of one percent from 5.6 percent in June. The July rate was the highest recorded since March of 1993.
