They could teach us some needed lessons
I know many of you are tired of the 2008 Olympic Games in China, especially if they have taken some of your TV air space. Well, I'm tired of it too. I get home from 9-12 at night, sit down to watch TV, which usually puts me to sleep in 10-15 minutes, and first wife comes in about 1ish to tell me to come to bed, sometimes.

Came back home before the sun got too hot, because since I've been this young gal, the sun and I are not on the best of terms. I cannot stay out in it as before.

As You See It
The county commissioners can't buy a $30 tape recorder for their meetings, but they can buy a full page ad to display their brand of fertilizer. Typical of this bunch! "Professing" Christians need to learn to live like Christians. Gossiping and slandering needs to stop!

Letters to the Editor
Dear Mr.Terry, The last issue of your paper had several comments in the "As You See It" column that were quite critical of the Arts Council. Our family has spent several thousand hours participating in various activities sponsored by CMAC.

Think you know oil?
Here we are with a new week and another round of posturing, politicking, and punditry regarding the price of petroleum…… As happens when politicians do a lot of talking, very little is said. Now, I hang around educated and talented people all day long. Most City Managers have at least one university degree.
