JANE CLARKE WISHAM
Mrs. Jane Clarke Wisham, age 77 of Donalsonville died Friday, August 15, 2008 at her residence.
Mrs. Wisham was born in Hazelhurst on May 17, 1931 to the late Evelyn Barnes and H.B. Hurley Sr. She was a 1948 graduate of Moultrie High School and majored in insurance at the University of Georgia. She was an insurance broker by profession, specializing in Property & Casualty Insurance. She was married to the late J. Russell Clarke Jr. and later married a lifelong friend and former classmate, James Milton Wisham in 1999. She was an active member of Reynolds Chapel Methodist Church Auxiliary and an active volunteer of Memorial Hospital/ Manor in Bainbridge and the Spring Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
A memorial service will be held Friday, August 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Reynolds Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Carnley and Dr. Edwin Willis officiating.
Survivors include her husband, James Milton Wisham, Donalsonville; brother, H.B. Hurley Jr. (Linda), Norman Park; son, James Wisham; daughters, Tina Patterson, Brenda Arnold, Susan Owens; seven grandchildren; and several other relatives also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn Barnes and H.B. Hurley Sr. and her first husband, J. Russell Clarke, Jr.
