Autumn with Locks of Love

Autumn Harper with an 11 inch lock of her hair recently cut to donate to Locks of Love.
In the heat of July, Autumn Harper cut 11 inches of her hair to donate to Locks of Love. Locks of Love is a public non profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the USA and Canada under the age of 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.

Autumn is a 6th grader at Miller County Middle School.

For the 07-08 school year Autumn received 12 academic awards including a yearly average of a "A" in science, social studies, English, and reading and a "A-B" yearly average in math as well as perfect attendance and Principals Honor Roll.

Autumn received 2nd place in the design a T-shirt contest for her school.

In the recent Pine Seedling Pageant, Autumn won 1st place and prettiest hair.

Autumn is the daughter of Ben and Michele Nix and the sister of Samantha Nix and Colby Griffin.
