The Miller County High School Class of 1948 held its 60th reunion on June 27th and June 28th, 2008. A banner "Welcome Class of 1948" was placed outside the worship center at the First Baptist Church in Colquitt to welcome everyone. Mr. Bill Shingler, age 61 of Donalsonville died Wednesday, August 13, 2008 as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
