      As I was out in the community visiting the other day, I turned off of Highway 91 South on my way to see Mrs. Mims. As I continued on my journey, I suddenly realized that I was driving down the road with my turn signal blinking away. Then it hit me - "You're driving like the old folks!

Flat Creek welcomes pastor and his wife
      Flat Creek Baptist Church is honored to welcome Dan Fender as its new pastor. He and his wife Cindy moved from Jacksonville, Florida, with their two daughters, Heather and Danielle. Brother Dan began his religious education in 1989 as he entered Southeastern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Funeral

      A cardiologist died and was given an elaborate funeral. A huge heart covered in flowers stood behind the casket during the service. Following the eulogy, the heart opened, and the casket rolled inside. The heart then closed, sealing the doctor in the beautiful heart forever.
