It came up and hit the side of the lawn mower. He made another run around the tree, and the "limb" moved again, but this time he hadn't hit it or run over it.

He looked back and saw this large diamond back rattlesnake crawling down the middle of the road. He got something to kill it.

There were children and dogs playing just across the road from his home.

The rattler was fivefeet long and had 13 rattlers and a button. One of the fangs was missing, so it was presumed that it was in one of the tires that the snake kept hitting.

The good news is that this snake won't bite anyone or anything. The bad news is that they don't usually run in singles.
