      Mrs. Bronnie Phillips Roberts, age 87, of Blakely died Friday, May 30, 2008, at Miller Nursing Home. Mrs. Roberts was born March 10, 1921, in Early County to the late Zema Lee Phillips and Mattie Lou Adams Phillips. She was a homemaker and a member of Blakely First Free Will Baptist Church.

      Mr. Michael Dan (Mickey) Lewis, age 52, of Damascus died Saturday, May 31, 2008. Mr. Lewis was born August 8, 1955, in Early County. He was a supervisor at Flint River Mills and was a member of Damascus Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Southwest Georgia Academy and attended Troy State University and Georgia Southwestern College.

      Mrs. Martha Ingram Lambert, age 92, of Iron City died Saturday, May 31, 2008. Mrs. Lambert was born in Seminole County on August 13, 1915, to the late Berry and Cora King Ingram. She was married to James Franklin Lambert, who preceded her in death. She worked as a clerk, and many will remember her from her days at King Cole Food Store in Iron City.

WILLARD BILL WIDNER
      Willard Widner, 72, of Auburndale, FL, passed away and went home to be with his Savior on Tuesday, May 27, 2008, after a valiant fight against kidney and heart disease. Born December 18, 1935, in Colquitt, he grew up as the son of a sharecropper in a close-knit family of seven brothers and one sister. He served three years in the Army.
