STEVEN WILFORD HODGE
Mr. Steven Wilford Hodge, age 58, of Donalsonville died Friday, May 30, 2008, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL.
Mr. Hodge was born in Greenville, SC, on February 15, 1950, to the late Clyde Wilford Hodge and Helen Lucile Conner Hodge. He was a master plumber by trade; however, his greatest accomplishments and enjoyment were touring as a musician with B.J. Thomas, Joe Diffie, George Strait and other stars.
A memorial service was held Sunday, June 1, at 4:00 p.m. at Parkside Circle in Donalsonville. A service will also be held in the Rome area on Saturday, June 7, at 4:00 p.m. at Proctor's Farm.
Survivors include his mother, Helen Craig, Greenville, SC; a sister, Teri Braswell, Donalsonville; stepsister, Lisa Hamby, Greenville, SC; half-brother, Jeff Hodge, Greenville, SC; stepbrother, Scott Hamby, Greenville, SC; nephew, Stephen Braswell, Donalsonville; two grandchildren, Brandon Barnett and Crystal Barnett; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Wilford Hodge, and a daughter, Tracy Hodge.
Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
