Mr. Michael Dan (Mickey) Lewis, age 52, of Damascus died Saturday, May 31, 2008.

Mr. Lewis was born August 8, 1955, in Early County. He was a supervisor at Flint River Mills and was a member of Damascus Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Southwest Georgia Academy and attended Troy State University and Georgia Southwestern College.

Graveside services were held Monday, June 2, at 11:00 a.m. at Cross Road Cemetery in Damascus with Rev. Buren Womble and Rev. Rollin Rathel officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Norman Lewis, Damascus; father, Billy J. Lewis, Damascus; two daughters, Jamie Horne and husband, Jeremiah, Thomasville, Jenna Lewis, Valdosta; sister, Dyan Jarrett and husband, Ray, Blakely; one grandchild,

Manry-Jordan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
