Over the course of my life as an intrepid (or is it insipid?) outdoorsman, I have spent much time seeking to resolve to my complete satisfaction many of the bafflingphenomena I continue to run across. With some, I have been quite successful. More ... All week long we have had very good luck on Big Red Bellies on Crickets. Each day that the wind would be under 10 mph you could catch lots of bream. Course we ain't had that many days lately. If Georgia Power would put up a double line off those big wind mills on Booster Club Road, they would pay off good fashion. More ... There is going be a fishfry tonight at the home of Luke Cook. Luke and his son, Todd, decided to go wading. Spring Creek is getting low and clear, so last Saturday, they got some crickets and artificialbait and went down by the bridge. More ... The annual Miller County Fishing Rodeo was held Saturday, May 10, 2008, at Haywood Pond. There were approximately 78 people attending, with 40 children enjoying the day. God granted us a beautiful day, filled with plenty of sunshine, a light breeze, children's laughter, and fish, fishand more fish. More ... Two hillbillies walk into a bar. While having a shot of whiskey, they talk about their moonshine operation. Suddenly, a woman at a nearby table, who is eating a sandwich begins to cough. After a minute or so, it becomes apparent that she is in real distress. One of the hillbillies looks at her and says, "Kin ya swallar?" The woman shakes her head no. More ...
