Residents at the Miller Nursing Home started their week off with Sunday School with Mr. Charles Thorne on Sunday morning and the members from Cook's Union were here to share on Sunday afternoon.

We had our regular Bible Study on Monday morning with Bob and Sue Roberts sharing with us and we celebrated National Pizza Day that afternoon. Monday evening the Mt. Zion Fellowship came to share in song, as always we enjoy having them with us.

We played bingo on Tuesday and Thursday morning.

The ladies enjoyed having their nails painted during Ladies Club on Tuesday afternoon in preparation for the birthday party on Wednesday.

Members from Colquitt First Baptist were with us on Wednesday morning for church. Members of Hebrew FWB Church hosted this months birthday party. Residents enjoyed pound cake, cheese puffs and punch.

The residents had fun playing bean bag toss on Thursday afternoon, and that evening we enjoyed having David Bracewell and the other men coming to sing for us.

Gayle Grimsley came to share on Friday morning and we played musical ball that afternoon. As always we enjoyed having our family and friends on Saturday for Family Day. We are so blessed to have so many that are willing to come and share and be part of our residents lives.

The activities department needs your help. We are looking for mens neck ties. If you have any old ties that you would like to get rid of please call me or you can bring them by the Activities Department at the Nursing Home. Also we are still looking for people who may be interested in coming and sharing with us on Saturdays. If you are willing to come you can call me at 758-4235. If I am not in, please leave me a message and I will get back with you.
