Do You Want It All?
With Memorial Day and graduations coming up, I had written about how our young and older people could act and do to become successful and be winners. My daughter, Donna, sent this story to me that was so much better than what I suggested. It takes a little time, but believe me it is worth it.

As You See It
Call us "cute whiners" if you want, but we have video proof to back up what we say. Give to the fund until it hurts. That way we can leave faster! It doesn't say much for our community when people try to run others out of town. I hope out-of-towners don't judge us all by the comments of a couple.

Letters to the Editor
Dear Terry, This will be a bifurcated letter, so, hopefully, none of your readers are offended by letter bifurcation. The first issue on which I'd like to express an opinion is the use of seat belts, especially by our youth. Since I moved back to Colquitt some sixteen years ago, we have lost 20-or-so of our young people in vehicle accidents.

AN OLD COOT'S REVENGE

He wrote to tell me he'd seen a recent photograph and was struck by the copious presence of gray in my elegantly coiffed locks and neatly trimmed chin whiskers. Old coot? And here I was thinking Bob Dylan penned the lyrics of "Forever Young" about me.
