Funeral services for Aubrey Clinton Haywood, 84, of Ft. Lauderdale, formerly of Miller County, was held Tuesday, May, 13, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the Boykin Church of God. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Mr. Haywood was born March 20, 1924, to the now late Charles Spurgeon and Annie Lou Glass Haywood, in Miller County. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nellie Haywood of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; three sons, Curt (Elizabeth), Gary (Cyndi), and Wayne (Tonya) Haywood; two daughters, Carol Jo Haywood Larson and Roxanne (Butch) Carter; one brother, Lindbergh Haywood; 10 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Cox Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
