The Miller County Ministerial Association honored the participating seniors of Miller County High School and Southwest Georgia Academy at the annual baccalureate service held at Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church Sunday, May 18, 2008, at 6:00 p.m.

A sanctuary filled with proud parents, grandparents and friends was waiting for the Class of 2008 as the graduates marched in to "Pomp and Circumstance," played by Mrs. Ruth Merritt.

The Call to Worship, "How Great Thou Art" was sung by the congregation and seniors.

The Reverend Damien Salazar gave the welcome, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Deanna Mason.

After a congregational hymn, "Be Thou My Vision," Blake Shepard, read the scripture, Psalm 139. Matthew Tully then led in prayer.

Next the Rev. Kent Barwick, pastor of Colquitt Free Will Baptist, introduced the speaker for this year's baccalaureate service, Brother James Judkins. The young speaker offered a very inspiring address to the Class of 2008 that touched its members as well as the rest of the audience.

The Rev. Benjamin Miller ended the program with the benediction, and the seniors marched out to "War March of the Priest" by Mendelson, also played by Mrs. Merritt.

The Miller County Ministerial Fellowship would like to congratulate the Class of 2008. "May the Lord be with you throughout the days of your lives. Our prayers are always with you," stated the association.
