Seminole Ramlins

by Jack Wingate

A Tee Shirt worth tellin' about, on the front was "What's wrong with our youth today?" Then on the back "Not enough _ _ _ beating by the parents!" This showing a father laying a belt on a boy's behind, nuff sed.

We note that at the Bassmaster Classic last week, we saw Fishen Lures sellin for $100 each, and a line of folks there buying them. I say this, if he throwed one of them hi-dollar baits down here in Seminole while the Jack fish is out, he's most likely gonna lose it 1st cast.

Charlie Hartley of Ohio speaking of his first Classic day that a pontoon boat full of Hooter girls "distracted" him from his fishen.

We also note that the state of SC got their tax money discounted from the checks, before they were given out.

In a recent survey that B.A.S.S. sent out, of those that ansured the survey, 90% sed they had never caught a Bass over 2.7 oz. I was shocked at that.

We were over at the Sneads Landing for the A.B.A. Boater - Co-Angler Tournement. The results on the angler side went like this, Craig Reynolds, of Bonifay, FLwith a 5 fishlimit had 19.56 and his Big Fish was 5.23 and earned him 20 points in the A.B.A. Series. Ryan Worthington of Middleberg, FLwith a 5 fishlimit had 18.8 and his Big Fish was 9.51, which was the Big Fish of the tournement. That earned him 199 points in the A.B.A. Series. Third place went to David Johnson with a 5 fishlimit at 17.16, his Big Fish was 4.24, that got him 198 points.

Richard Predmore of Recovery, GA with 14.77 pounds of bass which won first place in the Bainbridge Bass Club's Tournament Richard Predmore of Recovery, GA with 14.77 pounds of bass which won first place in the Bainbridge Bass Club's Tournament On the Co-Angler side, Tom Reeves of Land-O-Lakes, FLwith 3 fishhad 7.74 and his Big Fish was 3.66.
