Myrtle Barber Miller

Mrs. Myrtle Barber Miller, age 79, of Iron City passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2008.

Mrs. Miller was born in Seminole County on July 22, 1928, to the late Willie Monroe and Minnie Gause Barber. She was a homemaker and a active member of New Enterprise Free Will Baptist Church in Iron City.

Funeral services were held Friday, February 1, at New Enterprise Free Will Baptist Church in Iron City with Rev. Newton Cranford and Rev. Luther Hastey officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Eddie Miller III (Dee), Ryan Harrison, Yancy Trawick, Scott Pope, Chuck Miller, and Jimmy C. Miller. Honorary pallbearers were L.J. Miller and Billy Askew.

Survivors include one son, Eddie Miller Jr. and wife, Karen; two daughters, Patricia Harrison and husband, Mac, and Edwina Amerison and husband, Steve, all of Iron City; five grandchildren, Stephanie Miller, Eddie "Dee" Miller III, Eve Trawick and husband Yancy, Ryan Harrison and wife, Sarah, Susan Pope and husband, Scott; two sisters, Hazel Castell and Addie Olds; and five great-grandchildren, Payson Trawick, Daryn Trawick, Arysen Trawick, Ben Pope and Miller Pope.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
