This past Friday, 17 Miller County hog show exhibitors tried their luck with 36 hog entries in the largest Winter Pig Classic Jackpot Show ever held in Perry. The Miller County group did well in this show which featured a record number of 945 entries. Among those participating in this record event were Daniel Allen, Katie Cofty, Nikki Griffin, Zack Griffin, Hillary Harrell, Aaron Haire, Henley Haire, Briar Johnson, Hannah Lee, Maddox Lee, Christine Moore, Eddie Moore, Jackie Moore, Jenna Phillips, Brooke Widner, Jonathon Widner, and Taylor Widner. The show began on Friday evening with showmanship and concluded Saturday night with the selection of the Supreme and Reserve Supreme Champions of the show. There were 50 weight classes held on Saturday; these classes were separated by breed and weight. All hogs weighing less than 200 pounds were shown in the Prospect weight classes, and all hogs weighing 200 pounds or greater were shown in the Progress weight classes. The selection of a Grand and Reserve Breed Champion was conducted after the conclusion of each breed show. In addition, the selection of a Grand and Reserve Champion for both the Prospect and Progress shows was conducted at the conclusion of each show's respective weight classes. Finally, the Supreme and Reserve Supreme Champions were selected from the Prospect and Progress Show Winners. Complete show results for this event are as follows:
