Mrs. Veronica Toni Haire, 51, of Colquitt passed away Sunday, January 6, 2008, at her residence.

Funeral services were held Thursday, January 10, at 1:00 p.m. at Cotton Hall Theatre with the Rev. James Wooten officiating, along with Rev. A. Nobles, Min. Glena Bush, and Rev. Kent Barwick. Interment followed at Pleasant Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Haire was born May 2, 1956, in Miller County to the late Albert and Verdell King who preceded her in death when she was very young. She was raised by her grandmother, the late Ruby Kelly.

She was involved in the Swamp-Gravy play where she performed in Atlanta, Washington D.C. and several other cities around the country.

She is survived by her husband, Louis Haire; two sons, Ladarius (Debra) Haire and Emanuel (Melissa) Haire; one granddaughter, Madison Haire and a host of other family members.

Williams' Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
