Accident

On December 23, 2007

Timothy Jermaine Hale of Iron City was traveling southbound on Three Notch Road when a deer ran out into the roadway. Mr. Hale could not avoid the collision and struck the deer in the roadway causing damage to the vehicle.

On December 16, 2007 Joseph Leon Lawrence Jr. of Pelham was traveling south on Hwy 91 N. when a deer entered into the path of the vehicle. Mr. Lawrence tried to avoid the hitting the deer but could not.

On December 18, 2007 Robert Lewis King of Newton was traveling southbound on Kimbrel Road when a deer ran into his path. Mr. King struck the deer causing damage to his vehicle.

On December 15, 2007 Mr. Cedric Deon Price came by the Sheriff's office and reported that a deer ran into the path of his vehicle. Mr. Price was unable to avoid contact with the deer causing damage to the passenger door and the front passenger side fender of his car.

On December 22, 2007 Mr. Cecil Freeman of Bainbridge contacted the Sheriff's officein reference to striking a deer with a vehicle. Mr. Freeman stated that he was driving

Mrs. Ella Mae Henry home in her vehicle and that they were traveling northbound on Brinson Road when a deer ran out in front of her car. Mr. Freeman stated that he struck the deer in the roadway just south of Mother's Home Church Road. There was moderate damage to the front bumper and grill of the Car.

On December 21, 2007 OfficerBrad Cox responded to Roberts Lane in reference to someone hitting a deer. Upon arriving, Officer Cox made contact with Hope Renee Cleveland who stated that she needed to file a report. Mrs. Cleveland stated that she was traveling west on Roberts Lane when a deer ran out in front of her vehicle and she struck the deer and it ran back into the woods. There were moderate damage to the front bumper and the driver's side door would not open all the way.
