Michael Keith "Coot" Godwin, Jr.

Michael Keith "Coot" Godwin, Jr., 22, of Camilla died Monday, December 17, 2007 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville.

Funeral services was held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 20 at Southside Baptist Church. Rev. Neal Hager and Rev. Daniel Dean officiated.

Pallbearers were David Lewis, Ley Boatwright, Christopher Sinclair, Joseph Harper, Brandon Marcus, Clint Morrell, and Javarrius Stewart.

Born September 29, 1985 in Mitchell County, "Coot" worked for H & L Distributors in Pelham. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Betty Sue Edwards and his paternal grandparents, Cecil and Ruthell Raley.

Survivors include his parents, Parker and Julie Raley of Camilla; his father, Michael Godwin, Sr.; a sister, Amy Raley of Camilla; fiance, Stacy Weeks of Baconton; maternal grandfather, Lamar Edwards of Camilla.

Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
