Betty Jean Potts

Mrs.Betty Jean Potts, 70, of Colquitt died December 19, 2007, at Miller County Hospital.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 21 at SheffieldFuneral Chapel with interment in Eldorendo Baptist Church cemetery.

Mrs. Potts was born August 5, 1937 in Miller County. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include four daughters: Debra Jean (John) Schilling of Albany, Donna Kay (Yamil) Collazo of Columbus, Joy Denise Chasse of Wyomissing, PA, and Sonya Lynn Scalf of Cosby, TN; one son, Ted Allen (Lynn) Bryan Jr. of Severn, MD; two sisters, Sarah Nel Swiatkiewicz of Carroll, IA, and Desiree Diane Carroll of Iron City; four brothers: George Michael Chambless, David Chestnut, Arthur Chestnut and Jamie Chestnut, all of Bainbridge; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
